Responsible Harvesting of Agarwood

Responsible Harvesting

Every tree tells a story — of care, compliance, and sustainability

Responsible Harvesting

Harvesting is the critical culmination of years of growth. At ABI, we practice precision harvesting, ensuring each tree is only harvested at its peak resin density. By using ethical and selective methods, we protect the surrounding ecosystem and ensure that only mature, fully-resinified wood is collected. Each tree receives a unique identifier, allowing for full traceability from the plantation to the final product.

The Art of Carving and Cleaning

Once harvested, our agarwood undergoes a meticulous carving process. Our master artisans use specialized hand tools to delicately strip away the white, uninfected wood, revealing the "dark gold" hidden within. This labor-intensive process requires immense skill to preserve the natural shape and integrity of the resin, ensuring that every piece of ABI agarwood is a unique work of art with maximum aromatic purity.
