Visit to Batam Plantation

Following our initial visit to the Batam plantation on November 16, 2025, I am thrilled to share a progress update. Time flies when you are watching a forest grow, and the transformation in just a few short months is remarkable.

6 Months of Growth

Our seedlings have now officially reached the 6-month-old mark. Seeing them transition from vulnerable sprouts into sturdy young plants is a testament to the ideal growing conditions in Batam and the hard work of our plantation team.

At six months, these seedlings are beginning to establish the strong root systems and vertical growth necessary to eventually become the source of high-quality Agarwood. Every inch of growth brings us one step closer to a sustainable future for Gaharu.

Commitment to Quality

Consistent monitoring is at the heart of what we do at ABI Agarwood. By visiting our plantations regularly—whether in Tanjong Batu or Batam—we ensure that every tree is given the best start possible.

We are proud to see such a high survival rate and healthy color across this entire batch. These 6-month-old seedlings are the "infants" of our operation, and we will continue to nurture them until they reach the same 8-year maturity as our older stock.
